iCAT 2018 Conference

In the last 12 years, iCAT has gathered many scientists with many different interests and yet, a common passion for inventing, developing and enjoying the possibilities of 3D printing. Especially encouraging was the presence of medical doctors at what was first a purely engineering conference. But with the growth of cooperation between doctors and engineers proving that interdisciplinary approach leads to a better healthcare in general, iCAT has evolved into an interdisciplinary conference that dedicates half of its time to applications of Additive Manufacturing in medicine.

This October we will once again gather additive manufacturing experts, researchers, experienced users, and newcomers in Maribor, Slovenia's 3D printing capital to unveil their latest research and development news.

iCAT 2018's special topics:

• Art & Design - expanding creativity with Additive Technologies

Authors are kindly invited to prepare papers that cover one of the following topics:

• Additive Manufacturing - Industrial Applications,
• Materials for Additive Technologies,
• Quality Control for Additive Technologies,
• CAD and Innovative Simulation Methods,
• Customer Input Systems and Mass Customisation,
• Case Studies and Best Practice Examples,
• Education for Additive Technologies,
• or one of the iCAT 2018 special topics.

We are inviting scientific and professional papers. Deadlines are listed in the »Important dates« section. Abstract and paper submission is possible after registration.
